Dr. Herman I. Pryor Jr., Ed.D. is the Founding Principal of HIP Enterprise, a management consultancy grounded in the belief that empowered people empower people who empower organizations. A seasoned organizational effectiveness practitioner, Dr. Pryor has over a decade of experience driving transformative change in project and program management, client relations, organizational development, and change management. Dr. Pryor's professional background as a licensed and certified behavioral therapist combines deep expertise in behavioral psychology, organizational psychology, and adult learning to create innovative solutions that empower organizations to thrive.
Dr. Pryor brings a proven track record in managing federal programs and currently holds an active Public Trust, enabling him to partner with leaders to assess organizational value and implement sustainable, high-impact strategies. His expertise in stakeholder engagement, needs assessment, process mapping, and data-driven analysis has strengthened organizational culture and informed workforce strategies that drive long-term success.
A trusted advisor to C-suite executives, Dr. Pryor provides strategic guidance that aligns operational goals with leadership and workforce development priorities. As a Prosci® Certified Change Management Practitioner, he drives intentional, impactful change that advances organizational health, equity, and performance.
Dr. Pryor’s holistic approach to organizational effectiveness bridges strategy, psychology, and leadership, positioning him as a catalyst for meaningful, sustainable progress. He is committed to helping leaders unlock human potential, align intent with performance, and enable teams to thrive in complex, dynamic environments.
Dr. Pryor earned a B.A. degree in Experimental Pshcycology from the University of South Carolina-Columbia, M.S. degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of the District of Columbia, Ed.D. in Community College Leadership from Morgan State University, and an Executive Leadership Certification in Strategic Planning from Harvard University.
